I don’t know about you guys, but my energy has been on point for the last couple of weeks! Ideas, creativity, learning…. it’s all been happening, yay! I feel like I’ve got my mojo back after a solid few months of really having to push through the Winter weeds. We all get it right, British Winters are tough!

But, now that Spring is well and truly upon us, and actually the peak of Spring is hitting us on the 1st May with Beltane, the energy around us is positively booming! It’s a living sort of energy, the type that makes you feel like you can do anything and be anything you want to be.
Well, that’s true- you can! So now is the time to start getting a little curious.
It’s the time where you can start putting those thoughts, dreams and little curious niggles into action. What’s stopping you?
The more curious we are the more opportunities we have to learn about ourselves and build that deeper connection to who we really are and what we really want.

But this doesn’t have to be a super serious pursuit. Curiosity to me is about having fun. It’s playful and almost childlike in it’s nature. It’s trying new things and being ok with becoming a beginner again. So this month we will be tapping into two Yogic concepts.
The first is Svadhayaya – the Yogic concept of self-study. The idea that through observation, meditation and exploration of the self we can really learn who we are.
The second is your Sacral Chakra. This is the energy centre in the body that sits just below your belly button. It’s where we can power up our creativity, sensuality and desires.

Bring the two of these concepts together with a little bit of fun and BAM doesn’t that sound like a journey you want to go on!
In class we will have lovely flowy movements this month to tap us into our Sacral chakra as well as opportunities for some meditation and playing with mantras to connect to moments of self- growth. No pressure, let’s just see what happens!
One thing you love
To kick off this month I have a little wellness exercise to share with you all. It’s super simple this time
What is one thing you love to do?
Something that brings you joy, freedom, connection?
Go and spend some time doing that thing and be curious throughout.
Why do you love that thing? What is it teaching you about who you are and how you want to live your life?
Have fun guys, and see you in class.
Love, Tash xx
