At Flowing Flamingo Yoga, based in Wantage, my teaching approach is rooted in empowerment, choice, and connection. I create a safe space where you can listen to your body and cultivate a practice that supports your wellness journey. Yoga should be joyful—not a chore! In my classes, we play, laugh, and discover the joy of movement. Through yoga, meditation, and self-reflection, we explore what truly lights us up. Flowing Flamingo is a welcoming and inclusive space for all. Whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you'll feel supported in every class. I love getting to know you all so I take time to understand your unique needs and guide you at your own pace, free from pressure or judgment.

 

From group sessions to private lessons, my classes are accessible to everyone, regardless of experience, age, or fitness level. —helping you connect with yourself and others in a safe, nurturing environment.

Flamingo Flow: Connect and Rebalance

Flamingo Flow is a mid-energy class that focuses on reconnecting you with your body, mind, and self. It’s a wonderful way to reset during the day or early evening, helping you rebalance as you move through your daily routine. Each month we explore a different theme, keeping things fresh and engaging. 

 

This class is suitable for all levels, as I make sure to provide options that meet everyone’s needs, especially if you’re just starting out.

 

Sweat leave: medium  

Hosted in person at Holy Trinity Church, Wantage

Every Monday and Saturday

Strength & Tone : Build Strength 

A higher energy MUST TRY Yoga class that includes the use of light weights (1kg or 2kg) to add resistance and power to your workout. You can also practice without weights too if you'd prefer. 

 

What to expect: 

  • Gentle warm ups to get the body stretched out and moving 

  • Yoga flows that include the use of weights or bodyweight to build strength and endurance 

  • Core strengthening in every class 

  • A slow and long cool down to get you back into your bodies, connect to your breath and prepare you for a lovely relaxation in Savasana

&Relax: Unwind and Release

&Relax is all about taking a step back and giving yourself the time to unwind. This slower-paced class helps release the day’s tension and prepares your body and mind for a peaceful night’s sleep. We start with a gentle, empowering warm-up and then move through slower flows, both standing and seated, that help you let go of stress.

 

There’s always plenty of time for Savasana, and sometimes we even delve into a bit of Yoga Nidra for that extra layer of relaxation. Each week, the class theme changes, offering new ways to connect and relax. This is a great class for beginners or anyone looking to slow down and reconnect, with a focus on low-intensity movement that soothes rather than sweats.

Rise & Shine: Wake Up with Energy and Joy

Rise & Shine is a class that starts your day with a burst of positive energy. This morning session is perfect for waking up both your body and mind, setting a bright tone for the day ahead. We begin with a gentle warm-up to ease into movement and then flow through sequences designed to build energy and lift your spirits. Don’t worry about getting dressed up—feel free to roll out of bed and join in your pyjamas, just like I often do! This is a class for everyone! 

 

Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, I encourage you to come as you are, ready to wake up with a smile on your face.

 

Hosted on Zoom, making it easy to fit into your morning routine without missing a beat.

I always want you to know that you have choices, so during class I offer plenty of variations and modifications in, so you can move at your own pace and enjoy your own practice. I understand that life can be busy, which is why I offer a variety of class formats, including online and in-person sessions at varying times. From the early morning energy boost of Rise & Shine to the calming, restorative vibes of &Relax Wind Down, there’s a class to suit every schedule and mood.

You can join from the comfort of your home on Zoom or connect with the community in person—whatever works best for you. Flowing Flamingo is about more than just physical movement. I believe that yoga is a powerful tool for self-discovery, connection and fun.

At Flowing Flamingo, yoga is about fun, relaxation, and feeling good. I create a light-hearted atmosphere where you can let go of stress and enjoy every moment. I believe yoga should be enjoyable and something you look forward to, not another task on your to-do list. My classes focus on building strength, increasing mobility, and supporting your wellness journey in a joyful, sustainable way. Yoga is a path to feeling empowered in your body and life.
